Build the bridge between the factory floor and Solx's data and AI systems. Connect production equipment — PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and inspection systems — to centralized databases and analytics platforms, making machine, sensor, process, and inspection data reliable, structured, and accessible — the clean, documented data flows that power analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven manufacturing.

What you'll do

  • Connect production equipment, PLCs, HMIs, and databases into cohesive, reliable data pipelines across the manufacturing line.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and integrate industrial PLCs and HMIs to support production and data-collection requirements.
  • Collect and standardize data from PLCs, sensors, cameras, inspection equipment, and other production machinery.
  • Connect equipment to SQL databases, data historians, MES platforms, and other centralized systems, ensuring end-to-end data integrity.
  • Design and document industrial system architectures, network diagrams, tag structures, data flows, and data dictionaries.
  • Build and maintain data-integration routines in SQL and Python to move, transform, and validate production data.
  • Partner with AI, engineering, quality, and operations to make machine, process, and inspection data analytics- and AI-ready.
  • Support SCADA and OT/IT networking for secure, stable, and scalable connectivity between equipment and enterprise systems.
  • Uphold data quality, traceability, and compliance standards throughout the production environment.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering — or equivalent hands-on controls and integration experience.
  • Hands-on experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or manufacturing systems integration.
  • Experience programming, troubleshooting, and integrating industrial PLCs and HMIs.
  • Experience collecting data from PLCs, sensors, cameras, and inspection equipment, and connecting it to databases, historians, or MES platforms.
