James J. Holmes

Today that means a 1 GW solar manufacturing line in Puerto Rico — American-made modules for a grid that now has to power AI as much as homes — and a simple thesis: energy is becoming the operating system for intelligence, and the country that manufactures its own energy hardware controls its own compute. He's spent two decades at both ends of the energy build-out. At the distributed edge: commercial leadership at SolarCity and Sungevity, and CEO of One Sun Power. At industrial scale: LNG and power megaprojects with Bechtel and CB&I, where schedules are measured in years and mistakes in nine figures. Solx is the fusion of the two — heavy industry discipline applied to the fastest-moving demand curve in modern history. The 1 GW line is the first build. The next ones are planetary.

Dan DeSnyder
Leads capital strategy, structured finance, and treasury for Solx's 1 GW manufacturing platform. His career spans the full stack of energy finance: he began at the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency — earning two Exceptional Performance Awards from President Clinton for his work on energy security — then held senior roles at Shell and Standard Chartered Bank before five years as a VP at Sunnova Energy, the second-largest U.S. residential solar provider. There he led billions in structured financings and conceived, structured, and executed Project Hestia, Sunnova's landmark $3.3 billion U.S. Department of Energy financing. Holds an M.E. in Engineering and an M.Sc. in Energy Finance from the Colorado School of Mines, and a B.A. from Williams College.

Jordan Collins
Leads business development, commercial strategy, and execution at Solx. An energy executive and attorney with two decades across solar and distributed energy — structuring and closing project-finance and commercial deals at CalCom Energy, Lineage Logistics, and his firm DECARB, and shaping federal clean-energy policy at Mintz and the U.S. Department of Energy. J.D. from South Texas College of Law; BSBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler.

Korina Sanchez
Leads corporate governance behind a domestic 1 GW manufacturing buildout. An attorney and entrepreneur with over a decade in corporate and commercial law: general counsel at Samco Enterprises, senior counsel at Tristan & Cervantes, and CEO of Third Coast Hospitality, plus co-founding consumer ventures of her own. J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law; B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.

Kirk Crow
Owns accounting, controls, and financial reporting for Solx — the books, close, tax, compliance, and audit-ready financial infrastructure behind a domestic 1 GW manufacturing buildout. A career accounting executive with three decades across energy and industrials; previously Controller at Sunnova Energy, Assistant Controller for North America at Geokinetics, and Accounting Manager at KBR. Holds a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University.

Peter Millhorn
Drives finance and capital markets for Solx — funding, treasury, and the capital execution behind a domestic 1 GW buildout. Previously in capital markets at Sunnova Energy, restructuring at Opportune, and investment and commercial banking at J.P. Morgan. Holds a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a Terry Scholar.

Omar Ramirez
Runs all manufacturing operations at Solx's 1 GW campus in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico — production, quality, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and facilities. A manufacturing and automation leader who previously ran industrial automation engineering at NECI (now Stellix Global Services) and manufacturing operations at Habasit. Holds an M.Eng. in Engineering and Operations Management and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Haven.

Melissa De Jesus
Leads human resources for Solx's 1 GW campus in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico — talent, culture, and the people systems behind a workforce scaling to hundreds on the factory floor. A Caribbean HR and organizational-development leader with 25+ years building high-performing teams across multinational manufacturing: previously Associate Director of Organizational Development & HR at CooperVision, People Director at Grupo Ferré-Rangel, Regional HR Manager at Walgreens, and senior HR roles across the Caribbean and Latin America at Smith & Nephew, Rockwell Automation, and Mars. Prosci change-management certified and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. B.A. in Labor Relations from the University of Puerto Rico; MBA in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix.

Brenden Frazier
Owns product, technology, and R&D at Solx — the module roadmap, next-generation product development, and the software, data, and edge-vision systems that make the line intelligent. He lives at the frontier of photovoltaics — translating leading-edge research into products that can be built and trusted at giga scale, and setting the technical direction for where Solx goes next. Previously a module product manager at Trinasolar, one of the world's largest solar manufacturers, where he helped shape high-volume module design. Holds an M.Sc. in Solar Energy Engineering from the University of Freiburg — a leading global center for photovoltaics research — and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisville. Certified Energy Manager (CEM).

Edgardo Aviles
Owns facilities and plant infrastructure for Solx's 1 GW campus in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico — the buildings, utilities, and systems that keep the line powered and running. A chemical engineer and plant-infrastructure leader with three decades on Puerto Rico's manufacturing floor: previously a validation specialist at Edwards Lifesciences and, across nearly 32 years at HP, operations and engineering manager over the infrastructure and facilities of the Puerto Rico ink manufacturing plant. M.S. and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez.

Ian Hahn
Leads supply chain and logistics for Solx's 1 GW campus in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico — sourcing, procurement, inventory, and inbound and outbound flow that keep the line running at giga scale. Brings 15+ years across supply chain, logistics, and semiconductor manufacturing; previously Strategic Sourcing Manager at Silfab Solar. Holds a MicroMasters in Supply Chain Management from the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Western Washington University.

Blair Reynolds
Leads engineering development at Solx — the technical roadmap and product engineering behind the 1 GW line. A PV and energy-storage product leader with 15+ years across the industry: Director of Products at Bila Solar, Director of Renewables at Dynapower, Head of Residential Systems at SunPower, and energy-storage product roles at SMA and Enphase — where he helped ship grid-forming storage at utility scale and the world's first UL 9540-listed system. Kenneth Stead
Runs day-to-day manufacturing operations on the Solx line — throughput, quality, and safety at high volume. A production leader who has spent his career making factories run faster and cleaner: scaling module output at Bila Solar, driving high-volume production at Allison Transmission, and supervising a 120-person furnace assembly line at Carrier — where he lifted output 20% and ramped a new product line to full rate in record time. Maria M. Cardona
Owns quality assurance and quality control for the Solx line — the standards, inspection systems, and audit-ready quality infrastructure behind every module. An electrical engineer and quality leader with two decades across highly regulated manufacturing: previously a Project Manager and GMP compliance engineer at HP, Principal Manufacturing Engineer at Boston Scientific, and manufacturing and quality roles at Abbott and Celestica. A certified internal auditor across ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100, with deep FMEA and IQ/OQ/PQ qualification experience. B.S. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez.

Angel Sanchez Saez
Runs warehouse and logistics operations for the Solx line in Aguadilla — inbound and outbound flow, inventory, and the material movement that keeps production supplied. A warehouse leader with deep experience managing logistics across Puerto Rico's manufacturing and energy sector: previously a warehouse supervisor at Eagle Industries del Caribe and Máximo Energy, and warehouse manager at Momentum Solar, Stimwave, and Tesla. A decade-plus of hands-on warehouse operations across solar, energy, and industrial distribution.

Eddie Salgado-Molina
Leads day-to-day production operations on the Solx line in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico — driving safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery across the floor. A mechanical and manufacturing engineer with over a decade across demanding, highly regulated industries: previously Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Eos Energy Enterprises, Sr. Product Engineer at Watt Fuel Cell, Lead Manufacturing Specialist at GE Renewable Energy, and Mechanical Design Engineer at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, where he supported the U.S. Navy's aircraft carrier reactor program. B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Inter American University of Puerto Rico.

Yeritza Pérez-Pérez, Ph.D.
Leads edge AI and intelligent systems at Solx — the computer-vision, machine-learning, and edge-compute systems that let the line see itself, catch defects in real time, and turn production data into decisions. A Ph.D.-trained engineer and AI leader with over a decade turning complex AI into working industrial systems: founder of Smart Reconstruction, and previously co-founder and research director of Pearnets, an NSF-funded startup building AI for automated digital-twin generation, where she secured an NSF SBIR Phase I award. Her research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign spanned computer vision, deep learning, and digital twins, in collaboration with the U.S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratory. Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Construction Engineering & Management) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; M.S. and B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez.

Angel Rivera
Leads product engineering at Solx — the design, structural analysis, and continuous improvement behind the module and its production. A mechanical engineer with hands-on experience across automotive, armored-vehicle, and renewable-energy manufacturing: previously a manufacturing engineer at RACE ARC and Carros Blindados, where he optimized production lines and cut manufacturing time, and project manager on a 5.2 MW industrial-scale solar PV farm. He also led his university's Formula SAE race-car program and founded Adaptive Aerodynamics, a performance-driven aerodynamics venture. Deep in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and FEA-driven structural design. B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.

Christian Gonzalez
Keeps the Solx line running — owns maintenance and reliability for the equipment and automation across the 1 GW campus in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. An electronic engineering technician with a half-decade on Puerto Rico's manufacturing floor: previously engineering technician and lead technician at Copan Industries, where he was part of the startup team that installed the plant's manufacturing equipment and trained in Italy on the Euroterm oven production line, with earlier roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Amphenol Advanced Sensors. Deep in PLC programming, machine-vision systems, and electronic instrumentation — a licensed instrumentation technician (measurement, calibration, controls, automation) and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Antonio J. Sisco Oquendo
Owns information technology for Solx's 1 GW campus in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico — the networks, systems, security, and data infrastructure that keep the plant connected and the line's intelligence flowing. A technology executive with 15+ years leading IT and data privacy across government and healthcare: principal of Sisco Consulting Group, former CIO and Planning Director for the Puerto Rico Department of Education, State Health Information Technology Coordinator for Puerto Rico — a gubernatorial appointment — and CIO across a network of Puerto Rico hospital systems. Deep in enterprise infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and HIPAA and regulatory compliance. David Hernandez
Owns environmental, health, and safety for Solx's 1 GW campus in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico — the programs, training, and compliance systems that keep the line safe, clean, and audit-ready as the workforce scales to hundreds on the floor. An EHS and industrial-hygiene specialist with a decade across Puerto Rico's regulated manufacturing sector: previously EHS Specialist at Copan Industries and, for four years, EHS Specialist across two MM Packaging manufacturing plants, with earlier roles at Collins Aerospace, Lufthansa, and Fresenius Kabi. Graduate study in Environmental Health and Industrial Hygiene at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine; B.S. in Environmental Technology from the University of Puerto Rico–Aguadilla.

Alexis Morales, Ph.D.
Drives research and development at Solx — advancing the materials, processes, and testing behind next-generation modules. A Ph.D. materials scientist with two decades in industrial R&D and analytical quality: previously a Research & Development Scientist and Product Engineer at HP, developing and qualifying industrial and packaging materials, and Quality Control Laboratory Manager at AbbVie. Deep expertise in analytical methods, materials characterization, and process validation. Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry–Biophysics and M.S. in Chemistry, both from the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez.

Tulja Bhavani Korukonda, Ph.D.
Advances materials and device research for Solx's next-generation modules — from deposition and characterization to testing and scale-up. A solar-energy scientist whose research spans four leading labs: postdoctoral and research roles at Purdue University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Louisiana State University, following doctoral work at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Deep expertise in photovoltaic materials, thin-film deposition, roll-to-roll processing, and analytical chemistry. Ph.D. in Energy Sciences & Engineering from IIT Delhi and an M.Tech in Green Energy Technology from Pondicherry University.

Sira G. Morales Fernández
Builds, deploys, and improves the edge-AI systems that run on Solx's edge vision network (SEVN) — integrating machine vision and AI inference with the cameras, sensors, controllers, and production equipment on the line, and turning every frame into a traceable defect record that lifts yield, throughput, and quality. A mechanical engineer and researcher who has pointed simulation and machine learning at hard physical problems: wind-energy and CFD research at UPRM's TurboLab, two engineering internships at Pratt & Whitney (F135 fleet data analytics in Python and F100 engine studies), and biomedical CFD research at Brown University modeling blood flow through the brain. Fluent in Python, MATLAB, C++, and CFD (Ansys Fluent). B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez.
