Ensure every module meets spec — running incoming, in-process, and final inspection and testing to our IMS, ISO 9001, and industry standards, and driving corrective action when quality issues arise.
What you'll do
- Conduct incoming raw-material inspection and in-process checks.
- Perform electrical and visual testing of solar modules.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Run the Material Review Board (MRB): inspect and document non-conforming material, support disposition decisions, and drive rework or scrap actions.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and protocols.
- Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR): gather data on supplier defects, support investigations, and verify corrective actions.
- Perform audits to maintain quality-assurance protocols and comply with the IMS and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with engineering and production to resolve quality issues and support investigations.
- Lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action): root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness monitoring.
- Lead investigations and site audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide lot disposition and authorize shipments.
- Support automation, facilities, and environmental programs.
What you bring
- Associate degree, or at least three years of experience with Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, and internal auditing.
- Experience with document-management and change-management processes.
- Experience with CAPA and Nonconformance Reports (NCR).
- Familiarity with MRB (Material Review Board) processes.
- Experience with CAR / SCAR (Corrective Action Requests).
- Familiarity with testing equipment; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
