Keep everyone safe and the plant compliant — build and run the environmental, health, and safety program on a 24/7 manufacturing floor.
What you'll do
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and training.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations (federal and Puerto Rico).
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and job-hazard analyses.
- Investigate incidents, drive root-cause and corrective actions, and track metrics.
- Manage hazardous materials, waste, permits, and emergency-response plans.
- Champion a safety culture and lead training across shifts.
What you bring
- BS in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related.
- 3+ years in an EHS role in manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations; certifications (e.g. CSP, OSHA 30) a plus.
- Experience with incident investigation, audits, and hazardous-materials handling.
- Strong communicator who can build a safety culture on the floor.
- Comfortable on-site across a 24/7 operation.
- Bilingual English / Spanish a plus.
